GMD Globaal Medical File
As your General Practitioner we manage your medical records in an electronic medical program. As a result, your medical data is stored securely and we, and other healthcare providers, can better guide you regarding your health condition. This is called a Global Medical File (GMD).
An annual fee of € 38,00 is requested for this. For patients with Belgian health insurance, this is charged directly to the health insurance fund. This is not possible for patients with private insurance.
You can submit this contribution to your private health insurance for (partial) reimbursement.

LATE or NON-ACCURRENT ARRIVAL
Unfortunately, it happens regularly that a patient fails to show up for an appointment without notice. This wastes a lot of time and prevents another patient from being helped. If for some reason you cannot come or will be late, please cancel in time (min 12 hours in advance). This can be done by phone or through the online appointment system.
Unexpected crisis situations can always occur and we fully understand this.
From now on, this will be dealt with more strictly. If you do not show up, a note will be made in your file. After a second time, you will be charged the sum of €20. This charge is not covered by the health insurance company and you will have to pay it yourself. Lateness will also be noted in your file. Thank you for your understanding.
